About Me

As a qualified teacher I have worked in one of the highest achieving grammar schools in England, specialising in Edexcel GCSE Mathematics for the new specification. Having left classroom teaching in July 2016, I now tutor mathematics full time because I have experienced the huge benefits that a little bit of extra help outside of school can make in maths.

I have always loved maths and my experience teaching has allowed me to gain a strong familiarity with the content of the new GCSE specification and the topics and skills that will be assessed.

In my spare time I'm a keen cricketer; captaining a friendly cricket team in South London and playing as a Batsman and reluctant bowler. I have coached children aged 11+ as well as adults for cricket, and although I have played competitively for teams in the Surrey County Fullers league and the Yorkshire and Derbyshire league in the past, I now prefer to only play friendlies for enjoyment!

I am a Padi qualified open water scuba diver and have spent time snorkeling with all sorts of exciting creatures such as whale-sharks in Mexico and Octopuses in Croatia. I enjoy Kayaking on still waters, and swim daily.
